This Little Girl was born in a city of concrete sidewalks, yellow taxi cabs and honking horns

She grew up with black & white console TVs, shaggy rugs, vinyl LPs and The Jackson Five

The era of bell bottoms and buffalo sandals

The child of a Haitian father and an American mother

Born with a fire in her heart to love humanity

The journey was filled with laughter, tears, heartaches and victories

She loves a slice of pepperoni pizza and a good hair day

She would’ve never imagined who she has become!

Oooooh Friends .. I did a Thing!

Today I became a co-author 😳

This NYC Girl who had a Tutor in 3rd grade for reading comprehension and as a result never really enjoyed reading.

I navigated college by taking copious notes …. never really opening up a text book 😜

When I was invited by and other Dynamic Women to be a part of this anthology …. There was sooooo much resistance!

"Who Me?! … You don't understand … I'm not a writer nor reader and really don't have much to share"

With all the resistance and irritation…

I wrote my story ....
