Community, connection, and collaboration. 🤝🍕🍻🎶

We had an incredible time at our recent HERD Social, generously sponsored by Tony Cozzolino and hosted at Prosperity Brewers, with delicious pizza provided by How Ya Dough’N and great music provided by Jerry Leeman!

The evening brought together community partners, supporters, and friends to connect, network, and build relationships—all while raising awareness for HERD Foundation’s programs and the impact they make in our community.

We’re incredibly grateful to Tony Cozzolino, Prosperity Brewers, How Ya Dough’N, Jerry Leeman, and everyone who joined us and continues to support our mission. When our community comes together, we create greater awareness, stronger partnerships, and an even bigger impact. 💙

This Labor Day, we honor those whose work is more than a job - it’s a commitment to serving others. 🇺🇸

Veterans. Active-duty service members. First responders. Healthcare workers. Caregivers. Volunteers. And all those who quietly show up every day for someone else.

Service can ask a lot of us, and sometimes what we carry remains long after the shift ends or the uniform comes off.

At HERD Foundation, we’re honored to provide a place where people can connect with horses, find strength, and move forward.

Today, we celebrate the people behind the work and the difference they make every day.

Our Executive Director, Rhonda Fritzshall, and Board Member Margaret Angarola had the opportunity to attend today’s Collaborative Training Workshop, gaining valuable insights into the evolving nonprofit landscape.

One takeaway that stood out: 84% of philanthropy is emotional - connection inspires action.

They’re bringing back fresh perspectives on strengthening relationships, adapting to change, and creating even greater impact through the work of HERD Foundation.

We’re grateful for opportunities to learn alongside our nonprofit community and bring that knowledge back to our mission💙

Sammy plays. Stitch stands alongside him. Neither needs the other to be anything different.

Sometimes connection looks like playing together. Sometimes it looks like giving each other space. And sometimes it’s simply saying, “I’m right here.”
