Looking for something fun, hands-on, and meaningful for your child this summer?

Our Summer Equitation Club is more than just riding - it’s a full barn experience where kids learn real horsemanship, responsibility, and confidence in a safe, supportive environment.

What to expect:
🐴 Hands-on horse interaction every day
🐴 Riding days: Monday, Thursday & Friday
🐴 Horsemanship & barn learning: Tuesday & Wednesday
🐴 Grooming, feeding, tack, and horse care lessons
🐴 Small groups for safety and individualized attention

Flexible scheduling:
✔️ Register by the day or full week
✔️ No horse experience needed
✔️ No horse-riding equipment needed
✔️ Ages 6–16

Camp Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

We did a class today for an American Heritage Girls troop so they could earn their Horsemanship Badges! They all did amazing!!!

We can put together a program for your troop too.

2025 was a year of real horsemanship, steady growth, and kids learning skills, both in and out of the saddle.

This year, our riders focused on:
• Safe horse handling, grooming, tacking, feeding, and stall care
• Understanding horse behavior, anatomy, and basic health
• Groundwork first, with short, purposeful riding sessions
• Exposure to both English and Western riding
• Responsibility, teamwork, and confidence through hands-on learning and student-led teach backs

No pressure. No competition (okay… maybe a little during relay races). Just kids learning how barns work and how to show up capable, respectful, and confident.

The biggest win?
Watching the kids learn and grow into ones who can walk into a barn, assess what’s needed, and handle it, or know when to ask for help.

Thank you to our Equitation Club families for an amazing 2025.
Here’s to more learning, more confidence, and yes… probably more mud in 2026.

Holly would like to remind everyone that she *is*, in fact, a princess. And that princesses do **not** just eat hay off the ground like commoners... absolutely not.

So today’s royal decree? The kids must hold her hay up for her… so she can snack at the perfect angle, obviously.

Is she spoiled? Yes.
Does she deserve it? Yes.
Would we have it any other way? No.

At AMP Stables & Boarding, we are not just running a barn, we’re building a community where kids grow through responsibility, confidence, and connection with horses. We are thrilled to offer two more weeks of our Equitation Club program, created with homeschool values and hands-on learning in mind.

We’ve officially adopted Holly, a sweet retired polo pony with a gentle soul (and a touch of sass). She’s got a condition called “kissing spine,” but with a little rehab help from our amazing Barn 7 kids, she’s already blossoming.

Bonus? Our resident heartthrob Sterling has definitely noticed, barn romance alert!

We’re thrilled to announce that Holly is officially adopted and will be staying right here at Stables as a permanent part of our barn family!

This stunning 18-year-old Argentine Criollo mare spent years as a hard-working, high goal, polo pony before finding her way to us through ReplayPolo 501C3 Organization. Since arriving, Holly has shown us what true heart looks like - calm, kind, and full of soul.

We recently discovered that Holly has kissing spine, a condition similar to a spinal impingement in people. But don’t worry—she’s not facing it alone. The kids of Barn 7 are stepping up in a big way, helping with her rehabilitation through gentle groundwork, massage, stretching, light riding, and of course lots of love.

Holly has already become a favorite in our Equitation Club, patiently teaching young horse lovers the basics of horsemanship. With her new forever home and her own fan club of junior caretakers, she’s in the best hooves - I mean, hands - possible. Speaking of fans... rumor has it Sterling has a little crush. He’s been spotted following her up and down the paddock like a lovesick schoolboy.

With her new forever home and her own team of junior caretakers, Holly’s future looks as bright as her personality. Thank you to Replay Polo for giving her the second chance she so richly deserves.
