About James: James grew up on a working horse and cattle farm, where he was frequently tasked with running and repairing farm equipment. He is a graduate from Franklin Regional High School and completed Northern Westmoreland CTC's Welding Program. More recently, he gained valuable experience working alongside the PADCNR helping to complete various construction projects throughout our state parks. He is now helping us to get this building back in shape!

James is a little camera shy and very much an old soul. When he's not working hard, you can find him in a stream with a fishing rod or hanging out with his brothers. He's a great find and such an asset to our existing team!

Much appreciation to the Delmont Visionary Committee for having us out to tonight's meeting to explain our vision for the rink. If you live or do business in the borough or surrounding, definitely consider attending one of their meetings. Like us, they just want to make our community a better place!

Hi Friends! Looking for a hardworking handy man or woman with basic labor skills. Feel free to share!

OPPORTUNITY: Tasks include (but are not limited to) basic carpentry, clean up (no toilets), painting, small area demolition, surface preparation (scraping, sanding, and washing), and whatever you're willing to learn and/or tackle!

LOCATION: Right now Delmont, PA 15626 in Salem Twp, but there are several other ongoing projects in the area, if you are interested. Stay for just the rink renovation or work with Hayden on projects after the rink is complete.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Available 8 or more hours a day; at least 40 hours a week
- Basic hand tools needed (tape measure, hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.; power tools will be available to use)
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the site but also to run to grab supplies as needed (no hauling expected)
- Must be able to work and stay on task with limited supervision
- Must not work under the influence
- Must be neat, thorough, and positive
- Must be confident working with your hands
- Must like 80s Hair Bands 🤘 Just kidding! We can teach that 😉

COMPENSATION:
- $20-$25/hour depending on experience, paid weekly
- There are no benefits (unless you LOVE roller skating), but we PROMISE you will never have to use Microsoft Teams or sit on a video call that could have been an email.
