What a few weeks it's been for our Belles! Couldn't be more proud of these groups. 14U bringing home our first ever Belles Championship a couple weeks ago and 12U bringing home their first Championship this past weekend!!!
The plaques, the rings, the medals aren't why we do all this, but it sure is nice to see these girls rewarded for their hard work.
What makes it even more special is how much harder it is for these girls because of the way we do things. We don't play as much as other teams. We probably don't practice quite as much as other teams. We do our best to develop every girl on the roster even if it means the "best" team isn't always on the field.
We believe success isn't just measured by wins and losses. It's measured by growth, confidence, character, giving every player an opportunity to improve, and giving families time to be families. That's not always the easiest path, and it's definitely not the fastest path, but moments like these remind us it's worth it.
These championships are the result of months of hard work, commitment, and girls who continue to buy into something bigger than themselves. Proud of every player, every coach, and every family who has helped build what the Belles are becoming.
