The Dance Experience of Delmar The Dance Experience is perfect for every dancer from beginning to advanced. We allow for mistakes because you cannot learn, unless you make mistakes!

We focus on growth of the individual dancer through smaller class sizes and a team approach with strength based teaching methodologies. Our program is based on the premise that dance is a fun learning experience, while at the same time incorporating a strong emphasis on placement and technique. We believe each student is equally important, whether planning a career in the dance world or simply dan

cing for recreation! Self-confidence and self-concept are extremely important and increasing them is a part of our program. Each accomplishment is acknowledged and striving for future accomplishments is our goal. Our classes have the right balance between fun and strong technique. Our recreational dancers take 1 class per week, while some of our competitive dancers are at the studio 5 days per week. Our teachers come from varied backgrounds to bring a wide range of styles and techniques to the classes. Being a talented dancer does not automatically make you a talented teacher! In the fall Jake will be attending Ithaca and studying Sound Recording Technology. He has been dancing for 11 years and been on our competition team for 4 years. His favorite dance was M.A.A.D. After graduating from High School Rynn plans to take a gap year and volunteer abroad, then attend Pace University. She has been dancing for 15 years and been on our competition team for 4 years. In the fall Molly will be attending University at Buffalo and studying Occupational Therapy. She has been dancing for 12 years and been on our competition team for 10 years. In the fall SadieMae will be attending SUNY Cortland majoring in Inclusive Early Education. She has been dancing for 15 years and been on our competition team for 13 years. Her favorite dances were Forever and We Go Together (first duet with her sister, first competition dance and only competition dance choreographed by Ms. Audrey) and favorite style is Tap. In the fall Taylor will be attending North Eastern University majoring in Neuroscience. She has been dancing for 14 years and been on our competition team for 11 years. Chryceis has been dancing for 12 years and her favorite style is modern. In the fall she will be attending University of Pittsburgh to study Bioengineering. While dancing at TDE her favorite dance was a modern piece titled “Down”. Chryceis’s favorite memory is getting bubble tea in between classes!
