Well I haven't posted in a while. But I have changed colors I have gotten a redbone female. I have decided to take her to have a good month of training done. Hopefully she is as fast learning to be a Coon.dog as she has been, learning how to show Then we will see you in the hunts in sept.

Well two competition hunts behind us. The first one well it went like this . After arriving at the woods I find out my hearing aid batteries were dead. Got to get use to checking those things. Well we cut lose Ox gets a first and a first solo by himself as well as the other 3 getting by themselves. I cannot hear him the 2 gets him. I tree him back in 2 gets him one more time. After being treed for over hour scoring other dogs and his tree which was circled against 2 c***s seen . I see there is only 38 minutes left to hunt I withdraw to let the last 2 dogs hunt it off.

Well went out last night, made a few drops felt good to get to go. first drop struck quick and treed fairly quick but it was a big tree unable to see the top. So stepped away from the tree cut again opened beside the beaver pond drove it to the middle he was swimming as much as running. cleared the pond 250 yards later he tree's I can see the eyes before I get there. good night.

If the rain will ever quit. Planned all week to hunt all weekend but more rain. yeah LOL Maybe can get in some mid week hunting before the weekend.

Well yesterday I spent the day putting out feeders along the river. So I can get some camera views of whats around. This the 3rd year I have been in this club but have yet had a chance to turn a c**n dog lose in it, due to the search for a good dog to snap to the end of my leash. Once I get everything set up im going to get three of my friends together and do a practice hunt, to make sure that the 2 hours are used with room for more if needed. I will post pictures soon from the game cameras.
