Since the spring of 2024, Jaime Aguilar and Rubén Gómez have joined forces to shape the Tranchete Tactics program, drawing from their respective martial and combative backgrounds and perspectives.
This method is rooted in the study and application of curved blade weapons, understood not merely as tools, but as extensions of the body, intent, and decision-making under pressure. The approach combines real-world experience, technical work, and a deep understanding of how this type of blade behaves in combative contexts.
Throughout 2026, we will begin creating synergies with the goal of expanding Tranchete Tactics from Texas to Spain, through a series of in-person seminars and online training programs, bringing this method to practitioners seeking honest, functional work free from unnecessary embellishment.
On our YouTube channel, you can find a summary of the first two seminars, held in late 2024 and mid-2025, offering insights into curved blade work and the different perspectives each instructor brings from their own experience.

Este método nace del estudio y la aplicación del uso de hojas curvas (curved blade weapons), entendidas no solo como herramientas, sino como extensiones del cuerpo, la intención y la toma de decisiones bajo presión. El enfoque combina experiencia real, trabajo técnico y comprensión profunda del comportamiento de este tipo de filos en contextos combativos.
Durante 2026 comenzaremos a crear sinergias con el objetivo de expandir Tranchete Tactics desde Texas hasta España, a través de distintos seminarios presenciales y formaciones online, acercando este método a practicantes que buscan un trabajo honesto, funcional y sin artificios.
