Another Chapter Closed. Losing a final is never easy.
When I joined this league, I knew what talent I was going to face, and I knew it was going to be work. Real work, hard work, not given work. But I don't fear losing and I had some energy to share.
The countless times, PEOPLE tell me, why I don't ask certain players who are already......good? Cuz that girl can't even kick or can't even control, can't run...that girl isn't coachable..and many more sad choices of words.
But my answer ALWAYS is because I see potential and I bet all they need is someone with patience.
And look at these girls now, growing like they should. Shining enough to NOW be recognized. Because not only do I go out and try to teach them, they're also challenged by competitors that make them have to touch, pass, move type soccer. Such as teams like this.
As a former player myself I just wanted to go out and play, and I wanted to open the doors for other girls to believe me when I say, "I know you can play." So that they become confident enough to see and make mistakes and still keep going. That way there can be an actual female league where girls can play when the time comes when the boy teams begin to push them away as they grow into teens.
I now know it's not easy and I see why so many out there choose the winning team, when the losses of finals turn to sub champs, its hard to see the light at times especially in this type of pressure or when growth of players reaches a different level of maturity faster than other girls but I really do hope there are more coaches out there willing to have the patience to practice and build these talented young female generation๐
Thank you all for the support, Now to prepare for the next....
