Day 6 of 86! It was a busy week and was only able to make it to the gym 3 days so far. However, this second goal of the year and I'm focusing more on nutrition and sleep and so far I'm down 6.6lb! Been eating whole lots of veggies and getting good amounts of sleep!

Day 1 of 86! Went on a cruise for a week and you betcha I kept at it everyday at the gym on the ship and going up and down the stairs! I also ate some really good food!! Lol My first goal was to discipline my mind to show up every time I told myself it was time to get to work. This second goal of the year is now adding the nutrition to a higher degree. On my first goal, I was mindful of what I was eating but for this goal, I'm going to be deliberate in what I'm consuming. For the next 14 days I'm incorporating more raw fruits and veggies and getting my protein from egg whites. No meats or processed foods for these first two weeks. 86 days till I turn 38!

Day 65 of 72! Same girl, just a couple decades in between. I remember being told when I was about 19 that I was"too happy" because I hadn't lived life enough and that I would be changing soon. Well.. I think I've lived a bit and found this out. Through all the struggles, heartbreaks, challenges and loss we experience in life, if we continue to see life through a lens of gratitude, happiness seems to always be there. Today, I'm just extremely grateful to enjoy another day of life.

Day 58 of 72! It's interesting how habits change perspectives. I set my alarm for 330am but accidentally turned it off instead of snooze and didn't wake up till 430am! I felt it was so late!! I still got up and made it to the gym. I worked extra hard this morning to make up for the missed time but the extreme sweat was burning my eyes lol Happy Friday!

Day 57 of 72! During my workout this morning, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful for Colby. The past few days have been pretty stressful, but he’s been a constant source of support, lifting my spirits and encouraging me every step of the way.

Day 51-53 was a break from the gym and just enjoying the weekend with my love bugs and a little ice cream. Day 54 was back to the grind with the bestie and today, Day 55 of 72 was dedicated to the upper body!
