We have had some great jujitsu classes the past few weeks. The coach lets us all try what we want and when he is ready, he simply says, ok you have had your fun, then he reverses us and makes us tap as you can see from my first pic. Good times.

Had a surprise visit from Professor Briston Lowry this week. He was in town to teach some defensives tactics to local law enforcement and made some time to stop in to see the Dojo. Professor Lowry was an international Jiu Jitsu competitor who enjoyed a great deal of tournament success in his youth. His style of Jujutsu is a fusion of Classical Jujutsu and the Jujutsu developed by the Gracie family of Brazil. Our Jujitsu instructor Jendrick Hille has been a student of his for many years and we are very fortunate to have Professor Lowry's student teaching our Jujitsu's program. Professor Lowry enjoys sharing his skills and experience with his family and friends at his home Dojo. Publicly he is available for private lessons and seminars. His instruction is highly detailed and his Jujutsu is practical for both the street and the tournament mat.
