The Ohio Women’s Open Committee has decided to cease operation of the Ohio Women’s Open Golf Tournament

Due to the uncertainties that COVID-19 had created and continues to create for our sponsors, volunteers, players and patrons over the last several years, the Ohio Women’s Open Committee has decided to cease the Ohio Women’s Open Golf Tournament. We would like to thank all past players, sponsors and volunteers for many years of wonderful golf tournaments.

Thank you for your support of the Ohio Women’s Open.

Regretfully we are going to have to cancel this year. In the past we have had 60 to 90 golfers as of June 1st we are at 40. At this point we would have to order trophies, give aways, and other items that may not get used. We are getting too close to the deadline without enough participation to feel we can make this a successful event.

Our goal is to have a quality field for both the amateurs and professionals that participate. At the same time, we are appreciative and respectful of your financial support that we want a great tournament. We feel strongly that we will be able to have a great tournament in 2022 without the “pandemic cloud” hanging over our heads.

Event held June 19-22. The Championship, which is the only one of its kind in Ohio for women, will have a $25,000 total purse for professionals, senior professionals and amateurs. First prize will be $6,000 for professionals. Register by June 11.

Early Bird Registration Deadline until May 21: OWO Professional – $225 OWO Amateur – $175 Final Registration Deadline June 11: OWO Professional – $275 OWO Amateur – $225 The Final deadline is June 11 either online or through the mail at 5 p.m. There will be no exceptions to this.
