What a great weekend as two of our teams battled it out and finished on top this weekend!

First off, a huge congratulations to our 9U team as they went undefeated all weekend and finished up as champions for the USSSA Hits for Hope tournament in Zanesville! Keep up the hard work, ladies! The summer has only begun! 💪 🧡🥎🩵

And another big congratulations to our 18U team for finishing as runners up in the Queens of the Diamond tournament in Findlay. This was our first tournament as a team coming off from the high school season, and it was amazing how well this team fell right back into place. Their defense was on point, and the bats were on fire. Thank you to Ohio Lady Legends for an awesome championship game!!

Destroyer family, it is with a heavy heart that we share a loss of one of our own. Please keep Kate (14U) and her family in your thoughts and prayers, as they navigate the future after the passing of her mom, Amber Brown. While our hearts here on earth are hurting, we can appreciate that her body is no longer suffering from the affects of cancer and she will forever have the best seat in heaven watching over us on the field. 🧡🥎🩵 You will be missed!

🎃 Our Destroyers brought the chills, thrills, tricks, and treats to Hamilton for the TNT Monster Mash! A hauntingly good weekend of softball!

🐢 Shell-shocked? Nope, just proud! Our 18U Ninja Turtle squad battled every inning and came out runner-up champions in the Diamond bracket!

👻 The 14U Boo Crew brought the fright and the fight! Runner-up finish in the Diamond bracket after a spooktacular weekend of softball!

👵🏼 Wrinkled but ruthless! The 12U Granny Squad showed everyone that sass and softball never get old!

🥤The 10U shared more than a Coke, they shared determination, hustle, and heart. Runner-Up in the Semi Final Diamond bracket and proud of every drop of effort!

Let's talk about THIS girl, right here. She's our *typically* quiet, but FIERCE, leader behind the plate on the NW Destroyers HS team. She's one of the hardest working girls you'll ever meet, and, this just in..... You're looking at the newest member of the Wilmington College Softball team! Busy, busy weekend for our NW Destroyer family as all 5 teams headed to Sylvania for the inaugural Ohio Bash Showdown! It was fun seeing all our Destroyer girls on that many fields at the same time! Not to mention the fact that the girls are REALLY coming together, forming some great bonds and playing some fantastic softball! We are extremely proud of each of you! Keep it going, ladies!
