A few words from Chris after earning his black belt at our June promotion ceremony.

For Chris, Jiu-Jitsu became much more than training. It was the community, the culture, and the people around him that made the difference.

He shared that GB Deerfield helped him find his spark again, and become a better father, husband, and teacher.

What a weekend for our competitors! 🥋🏆

Congratulations to Claudia, Aurora, Soleil, Azurra, and Jacob on stepping out there and representing Gracie Barra Deerfield.

Claudia earned silver at the IBJJF World Master Championship, the girls had an incredible showing with podium finishes at Jiu-Jitsu Con, and Jacob earned 2nd place at the Chicago Fall Games.

We’re proud of the courage, preparation, and effort it takes to compete. Congratulations, everyone! ❤️🔺
