Here at Ultimate Kenpo Warriors, we specialize in American Kenpo Karate. We believe that learning the art of self-defense is all about knowledge and skill. Instead of teaching our students to fight, our courses and camps focus on giving them the abilities, information, and techniques they’ll need to protect themselves. Alex, our founder, started this school as a way to impart his nearly three decades of martial arts experience to those who want to learn. He loves sharing his passion with the community and giving them the high-quality teachings they deserve.

👉 People call our technique "fake" because they miss the point of them. It's controlled training; nothing more than a drill.

It's a way to learn range, timing, how your weapons fit against an opponent, optimal outcomes, which moves flow together, and what errors you need to correct, all while learning the rules, principles, and concepts of motion. 💯

These are all training methods that each serve a valuable purpose. No single method simulates a real fight on its own, not even sparring.

If you keep an open mind, and change your perspective you may be able to start learning. 🔥

We hope this helps give an alternate point of view for those who criticize the technique videos.

Imagine someone learning to shoot. They have to go to a shooting range and learn first hand about stances, recoil, reloading, etc. You wouldn't critique them saying "try that at war, your enemy isn't going to stand there and let you aim and shoot." Same concept. As they say, crawl before you can walk.
