UMPIRE WALKS OFF THE FIELD @ BLD.Play…6-3 GB. 1B blocks the base, runner crosses arms braces for impact, beats the throw and collides into 1B. Field umpire had safe, said that runner beat the throw and he had obstruction on the 1B.(I found this out later on after finding the field blue after our games near office)Home plate ump had interference, and didn’t give his partner the time of day to explain himself, and over ruled his call on his own.(tech rule is opposing coach would have to go to field ump that made call and ask for an appeal from home ump)As a coach for 10 years now, and an umpire for 21, ive never seen this happen and it saddens me that an official would do that to his partner, and cause a scene like he did, especially in 9aa.

Love these two boys work ethic… both committed to colleges this fall, and both are in the facility a ton steady grinding every week!!
Both been dirtbags since day one, and still are with our 18u showcase squad. I couldn’t be prouder to have helped them continue their academic and baseball journey into two great colleges.
