Settler’s Day Parade 2026!!!

So much fun today to see so many smiling faces! We are grateful to be part of the wonderful Deer Park community!

Deer Park Settler’s Day Parade is this Saturday, July 25th at 10am!!!

BBD will be closed as we are participating in the parade. We look forward to seeing the Deer Park Community along the parade route!

If anyone would like to join us and ride their bike in the parade we are going to line up starting at First Baptist Church Deer Park - 1205 E Crawford beginning at 9:30am. We will watch the parade starting at 10am and then jump in at our designated time. All bikes are welcome to join us. BBD gear is encouraged but not required.

Thanks to Laura and the Northside Community Voice for the article on donation bikes!

However, a few clarifications… we accept any and all bike donations without an ask for any $. If you are looking for a place to drop off bikes, feel free to leave them at the tree any time. We do like to see bikes get new life or do good instead of rotting in the dump!

The request for a donation of $5-10 only applies when we do a clean-up event and you are coming to take something.

The proceeds from this most recent scrap haul did go to the VFW and we have supported the VFW other times. But this is not specifically an activity to raise funds for the VFW. We have also given money to other local groups and support many things in the Deer Park Community.
