Yes we are aware there’s an error in today’s(6/1/26) news letter about twilight league start date. It is NOT TODAY! Twilight League will start next Monday June 8th. Yes we are looking for 1 more person to play in the first session so to make even teams.

We would like to congratulate John Thompson III on this season’s most improved golfer. John started the 2025 season with a 21.4 index and ended with a 16.5. That’s a 1.17 improvement! Way to go John!
The formula recommend by the USGA is add 12 to start of season index. Then and 12 to ending index. Then divide start number by end number. The result is golfers improvement rate. The highest number from all players is the most improved.

Here are the top 4 most improved:
1-John Thompson S21.4 E16.5 = 1.17
2- Mark Sterritt S10.7 E8.4 = 1.11
3- Ken Wiberg S13.7 E11.6 = 1.09
4- Dan McLaughlin S20.2 E18.2 = 1.06

The clubhouse is closed for the season but the course is still being maintained until the end of the month. Non-Members are welcome to play all we ask is that you kindly put $10 in the red box to the right of the door. Also just a friendly reminder we have cameras around the clubhouse for security purposes and we can also see who is playing and if you should be paying or not. Thank you very much and have a great winter!

Today ended the ICC tournament schedule for 2025! With lower than normal players we shortened the superintendent revenge(AKA CRAZY GOLF) tourney to 9 holes for all. All that played seemed to like the 9 hole format better so maybe we might have something for next year? We had mulligans, hand wedges, putting with kids plastic putters, luck of the dice on where to hit from to what club you have to play the whole hole with, hitting into a green with 3 pins, hitting to a green that’s a big bullseye, even hitting into a green with no pin just a cup! And of course the famous 8” hole on the severe slope! There were giggles and moans heard all over the course and when all was finished Mark Sterritt and Su Oliver came out on top in there divisions. Congrats to all who won and thank you to all who helped support the club in this fun tourney.
