The Upper Iowa Training Club, based in Decorah, is offering a 4-H dog project workshop. The workshop will be held at the Good Dog Center in Decorah. The GDC is located at 2955 Hwy 52 N, Decorah.
Any current 4-H member enrolled in the 4-H dog project that has shown in previous years is welcome to attend. Future sessions will welcome those brand new to the dog project.

The workshop will be held October 4, 2025. There will be a morning session from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and an afternoon session from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. The 4-H’er may pick one session to attend. Parents are encouraged to come and observe.

The workshop will be taught by UITC members. Members have more than 60 years of experience in training and showing in AKC obedience, rally, and agility. There will be small group training and informational handouts will be provided.

4-H project leaders from other counties are encouraged to come and learn and share training techniques.

All dogs must have a current rabies certificate and health papers with them to be admitted. 4-H’ers must bring crates for their dogs.
There is no charge for the workshop. This workshop will work on attention and heeling.

Winnesiek County was well represented at the State Fair today! Karmyn, Madi & Nate did well! Everyone had a great time (even when the dogs didn't cooperate - which was mainly Chester and Ziva!) 😂 We would love to have more of you there next year!
