Congratulations to both of our High School team members Paxton St. Charles and Caden Schilling for their 5th place finish in the state Tournament on Watts Bar. They had a 5 fish total of 14.66 lbs on Day 1 and 2nd day 5 fish weight of 17.74 lbs for 31.81 total when it was all said and done. They finished in 13th place in overall points for the season. So we wrapped up our inaugural season of JR Tennessee Bass Nation High School/Youth. The boys fished hard all season long and finished well. This past weekend was the final tournament of the season- The TN State Championship on Watts Bar Lake in Kingston, TN. Special thanks to the city of Kingston for being such a great host. Jacob Rimback and Fisher Jones caught 2 fish for 3.6. Lbs on day 1 and 3 fish for 6.93 on the final day. They placed 23rd place out of 48 boats. With the points they earned all season long, they finished 15th in total points for the season and team of the year points (15 out of 118 teams). Way to go boys! What an epic first season of JR high fishing for the Hixson Wildcats! Join us in congratulating our Hixson JR Bass Team on their successful season.

Way to go Jacob Rimback and Fisher Jones for your 15th place finish in the East championship of Tennessee Bass Nation High School/Youth. Saved the best finish for last, but they aren’t done yet! They bagged 4 fish for a total weight of 10.17 lbs, the biggest bag of the season for our Junior Team. With that finish and their overall results this season, they have qualified for the state tournament on Watts Bar lake next weekend. What a great finish and great season overall! Let’s hear it for our first ever JR series Tennessee Bass Nation High School/Youth team. They finished strong and are state tournament bound! Congratulations boys.

This past weekend was our final stop #4 on the Tennessee Bass Nation Youth JR State Open trail on our home pond- Chickamauga Lake/Dayton for the annual Battle of the Chick tournament. Our JR team of Jacob Rimback and Fisher Jones weighed in a total of 4 fish for 8.91. They battled hard to try to get the 5th fish in the boat, but it came off. Regardless, we are proud of their hard work and determination. Congratulations boys!

That wraps up the state opens trail and our East Region JR championship is May 17th on a nearby lake- Nickajack Lake. Waiting to see if that is the last tournament of the year they qualified for or not. Very proud of the team and their preparation and effort!

This past weekend was our final stop #4 on the Tennessee Bass Nation High School/Youth State Open trail on our home pond- Chickamauga Lake/Dayton for the annual Battle of the Chick tournament. Our HS team of Caden Schilling and Paxton St. Charles weighed in a total of 5 fish for 9.44 lbs. There was some tough competition for this tournament. They gave it their all. Congratulations boys!

That wraps up the state opens trail and our East Region championship is May 16th on another local lake- Nickajack Lake. Waiting to see if that is the last tournament of the year they qualified for or not. Very proud of the team and their preparation and effort!

This past weekend was stop #3 on the Tennessee Bass Nation High School/Youth JR State Open trail on Dale Hollow for the Battle of the Border tournament. Our JR team of Jacob Rimback and Fisher Jones battled and weighed in a 2 day total of 3.79 lbs and finished 38th place! There were 3-4 fish that came off trying to get them in the boat. Otherwise, they could have had a much higher total. Regardless, they made it to weigh in and continue to compete! Congratulations boys!
