It is with a heavy heart that we share that Tennessee River Little Britches Rodeo Association will NOT be hosting a regular rodeo season for the 2026–2027 year.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and one that was not made lightly. After many conversations, prayers, and a lot of consideration, we have decided that stepping back this season is the best decision for our association and our families at this time.
Over the years, Tennessee River Little Britches has been so much more than just a rodeo association. It has been a place where lifelong friendships were made, young cowboys and cowgirls grew in and out of the arena, families spent weekends together, and countless memories were created. We are so thankful for every contestant, parent, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who has been part of this journey. You have helped build something truly special, and we will always be grateful.
If there is an individual or group who has the passion and desire to take over the Tennessee River Little Britches franchise and continue the 2026–2027 season, we would love to talk with you. We would much rather see this association continue than see it sit idle.
If no one is able to take over the franchise, we hope to host a few qualifier rodeos later in the 2026–2027 season. These would be stand-alone qualifier rodeos with no membership requirements or year-end awards, giving contestants another opportunity to compete and qualify.
While this chapter is coming to a close, we truly hope it isn’t the end of Tennessee River Little Britches. We hope it’s simply a pause before a new beginning.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and allowing us to be a small part of your rodeo journey. The memories we’ve made together will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we hope to see you all down the road.
