Tall Tales Custom Tackles Tall Tales Custom Tackles is currently not making custom baits any longer, just posting stuff now as a hobby.

We hand carve fishing lures and paint them either by hand or with an air brush system. We use a strong sealant to make sure no water leaks into the wood. All lures are tested in water to make sure they 'swim' the right way as well. We will also be painting blank crank baits with and without rattles. Eric, the co-owner likes carving his baits so that is mostly what we will have at any given time. H

e adds just the right amount of lead inside the bait to make it sink or float the right way. Some of his wood carved baits can have rattles inside them too!
