DYHA is excited to bring 3 on 3 Hockey to the 2026 Season. Registration is open until 7/12 and is open to all 6u (who have completed beginners), 8u, 10u, 12u,14u and 16u.

Congratulations to Karen Quick for being recognized as an AHAI Volunteer of the Year (Amateur Hockey Association of IL) for her volunteerism and great support of Youth Hockey. Karen supports Decatur Youth Hockey, High School Hockey, and Women’s Hockey. She is always positve, helpful, has great ideas, puts the kids and families first, and looks for ways to grow our programs. Congrats to her on this well deserved award.

“A few weeks ago, our state registrar for hockey called to tell me I won a Volunteer of the Year award for my work as local registrar and the concept we had for our house team combo tournament team we did in March. To say I was shocked would be an understatement, considering I had no idea an award existed. Since the tourney idea was Shane Hagler’s and I helped in executing it, he went to the meeting as well, which was nice considering we didn’t know anyone else there.

This was all a team effort from players, parents and coaches and I was thrilled to accept an award to recognize new ideas to grow house hockey in central Illinois.”

Decatur High School Hockey End of Season Dinner…..we had so much fun watching this team play.

Best of luck to our seniors. We look forward to the rest of the team returning along with welcoming the new incoming Freshman players next season.

As our 2025-2026 Season wraps up, we recognize our Seniors and say thank you for all the years of great hockey, fun travel tournaments, and family memories that will last a lifetime.

Even though the playoffs didn’t go as planned, the team gave us some great moments of exciting hockey. Congrats to the team on the 2025-2026 Season.
