⚽ Tactical Analysis: The 3-2-3-2 Formation

The 3-2-3-2 formation is an attacking system that combines central control, quick passing, and strong offensive movement. Three defenders provide stability at the back, while two defensive midfielders protect the defense and help build attacks from deep positions.

The three attacking midfielders create chances between the lines, connect the midfield with the forwards, and exploit spaces in the opposition’s defense. The two strikers work together to create scoring opportunities, make intelligent runs, and press defenders when the team loses possession.

In possession, the team should use quick combinations, movement off the ball, and width to stretch the opposition. Without the ball, compact positioning and coordinated pressing are essential. The main weakness is the space left on the wings, so the midfielders must support the defenders during defensive transitions.

Come support the Decatur Youth Soccer Association, your family and friends!

Event is FREE and open to all soccer loving people!

We will have all divisions U6, U8, U10 and U12 playing between 9am and 11:45!!

We are hoping to get some food trucks and bounce houses out there between 11 and 2!

Coaches, please try to have a tent/table set up for your team to pass out candy between 12-12:30! Feel free to get creative and decorate if you feel led!

Trophy ceremony for U8, U10, U12 will start at 1:00 to announce our division DECATUR CUP champions!

Can’t wait to see y’all on the fields!!
