Summer is rollin' through and our athletes are puttin' in the work! If you've heard about us and would like to see what we're about, we're at the Decatur HS track from 6-8 M, W, Tr. We've seen tremendous growth this season with athlete turnout & registration. Our coaching staff had to grow too! We have a coach for shot & discus, triple jump, long jump, high jump, hurdles, starts, & drive phase. We're already looking at next year and have a middle distance coach lined up. We also added a group of team moms for the first time! Come check us out!

We're still looking at having practice but understand those that are driving may not want to risk practice being cut short due to weather.

A few updates:

After tonight's practice we will switch all team communication to GameChanger. If you registered, you should've received an email to get that set up and going.

We are finalizing uniform & warm-up shirts after having a hiccup with our new vendor. Communication for that will go out on GC & email as soon as its finalized and those are available.

We are monitoring the weather. As of right now, we are still having practice.

Lastly, we have doubled our numbers from last year. We have put together a staff of 10 coaches (as opposed to 5 last year) and are working on a Team Mom group. Please be patient as we work to be more efficient with such a huge influx of athletes.

Registration runs through midnight on Wednesday 5/20.

No spikes required today. Flats/running shoes/sneakers are required.

Last weekend before we GET OUR RUN ON!!!

Some reminders:

Hydrate. A lot.

Flats (sbeakers/running shoes) required. Spikes are not.

We start at 6pm. That means on the track, ready to run at 6pm Monday.

I will be available for Q&A at the end of practice. I'm pretty approachable after practice. Coaches before practice, we're setting up or talking to athletes. During practice, we're focused on athletes so please, write your questions down and find one of us after practice.

If your athlete is 8U, this is not a situation where you drop off and come back later. You will need to be there the entire time. Whether that's in your car or at the track somewhere, you need to be available for your athlete.

Sunscreen is not a bad idea.

If you like to run, wanna have some fun, get really hot & sweaty, or are a ferocious competitor, come check us out!
