There is always so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for all of you, to coach for such a great school and in a great community, for all my players and families, my fellow coaches, all dynamite families, players and coaches and so much more! Happy Thanksgiving!

Team bonding today! Angel tree shopping 🎄followed by lunch and roller skating🛼. We were able to cover the cost of the angel tree shopping with proceeds from our garage sale this fall along with additional donations. Because of support we were able to purchase gifts for 6 children today. Thank you to those who supported us in this. Quote of the day….“budgeting is really hard” 😂 yes, yes it is… also kudos to our seniors who were all in on this and volunteered their time to put on the garage sale. Proud of you girls 🙌🏼

As exciting as it is to see the new changes to the infield. We ask that people refrain from using the main field for the remainder of the year as we need the new dirt to continue to settle and level out. We are very excited to have an improved playing surface for next spring, but we ask everyone to respect this request for the time being.

If you have things you don’t use anymore at home that someone else could use, consider donating to this cause and help out our baseball team. Then go back this weekend to find some good deals!

Just a reminder this Wednesday 10/1 is the last collection night for the garage sale this Saturday. Collection is at Selking International Decatur from 6p till 7p. Donations can also be given to any high school baseball player, parent or coach.

Trying something new. Early next spring we will be holding spring training for ages 6-8. We would like to have girls come this Sunday the 28th 1PM for a skills assessment. This is not a tryout, this is to help us determine how many groups we will need to do. Current dynamite players and practice players not eligible. We have very knowledgeable coaches working this program to focus heavily on fundamentals and it’s something we are very excited to provide. If you have a schedule conflict please still reach out to the email provided.

Congratulations to the 10u and 12u Dynamite teams on winning first place in the Monroe Fall Ball league tournament today. 10u outscored their opponents today 44-21 in 3 games and 12u outscored their opponents 22-2 in 2 games. Congratulations girls and coaches. The future continues to look bright for Bellmont Softball!
