🎉Who knew 20 years ago… the impact John Robinson would have on our community the day he said yes to open Fit-n-Wise in 1999 and leave Lubbock, TX behind.
Then in 2006, he walked away from a steady salary — with a young family—to start Jrob's Performance Training. 🏋🏻
💙His passion to be the best version of himself, and to challenge others to do the same, has shaped generations across Wise County and beyond.
His love for athletes has never wavered — from ‘old school’ summer camps at the track, to 1st VertiMax training, to Elite 16, and team crucibles. His motivational talks to the FCA, and to teams before crucial games, have shifted athletes' mindsets toward victory! 🏆
His current collaboration with the PBR grew out of a connection with Coach Joe Frost, made while filming Last Cowboy Standing Season 2 together — opening up a whole new world of knowledge and passion for the bull-rider athlete!
Part of a state-winning football program at Marshall High, four years of Texas Tech football, marathons, CrossFit, SEAL Fit, and a 50K before turning 50 — Jrob has always chased the same physical and mental challenge for himself that he asks of his clients!
🫶🏼His heart is bigger than his build (lol). We'll never know all the ways he's helped out families — let sessions run long, attended games, and made endless phone calls when an athlete just needed a word of encouragement.
From 1,000 square feet — the space everyone called "the closet" — to 20,000 square feet, and now to location #7 at 3,000 square feet, every space has held its own special memories and moments of growth.
Jrobs became an ordained minister and married Keenan & Sierra, 2 of his athletes, and baptized several more. His heart is genuine, and he'll do anything for anyone.
So thank you, Jrob — for who you are, for what you've built in 20 years, and for the wave of impact that keeps moving outward. I'm grateful that I, and your kids — now grown adults — got a front-row seat. 🤗🙌🏼
Here's to the future, and to all God has ahead of you.
