Now we are not here today to get into the age old battle of Chevy v. Ford v. Ram. What we are here for is: truck prices just too dang HIGH?! Check out the latest from MotorTrend, an ultra luxury truck, (can’t believe I typed those 3 words together lol) at an ultra luxury price. Want to own one of these fancy trucks? It will only set you back a cool starting price of $99,190! Thats for the gas engine! Who knows how much Ford will add for the 6.7L Powerstroke? It seems like automakers just keep tying to up the anty, more features, more infotainment etc. I feel like some washed up “idea guy” from WestCoast Customs got picked up by the manufacturers and was asked “what can you come up with?”. How long before our “Trucks” have saunas and a foot bath? At the same time, are the manufacturers just givingng the people what they want? Are the focus groups really saying they want a back massage while towing this 30K lbs gooseneck? I dont know. Sometimes I wish trucks were trucks again, they rode rough, hauled heavy loads, had roll up windows and manual locks, and a bench seat so your baby could sit right next to you with your arm around her.
