In the early stages of directing a race in DeRidder Louisiana. Our city has paved a very nice 1 mile track through West Park. Concept is a 24 hour race, run as many miles as you want within 24 hours. T-shirts for all participants, finishers medal for everyone finishing at least 27 miles (anything beyond 26.2 miles constitutes an ultra marathon) and then special awards for the ones who run the farthest.
