ADDITIONAL CONCESSION INFO:
We love seeing the discussion on yesterday's post about our concession volunteer needs. A couple of things we would like added to the discussion.
• We are in need for many volunteers still for tomorrow's football opener (8/28). Those assigned teams got a bit of a short notice, so they (and we) could really use the help of our great community.
• You do not need to be a student athlete parent to help out. Students, other family members, friends, community members, and anyone else are all welcome to sign up for ANY shift, even if it is assigned to a specific team. Our teams and Booster Board really appreciate the support.
• With our new $1,000 scholarship we will be awarding staring with the Class of 2027, a volunteer can credit their work toward ANY student. We know there may be kids out there that may like sports, but just don't participate for one reason or another and might like this as another way to be involved, or just like serving their community. This new scholarship can be earned by any student who has the highest annual average of volunteer hours performed for the Sports Boosters. Have a family friend, great kid in the neighborhood, or other student you would like to help out, let them know they are welcome or come volunteer on their behalf!
