MLB Pitch, Hit & Run for Softball & Baseball players is being hosted by WVAC for WVAC players!

Pitch Hit & Run is for boys and girls ages 7 to 14 years old and consists of a series of movements that are important in baseball and softball. Athletes are tested on their individual skills in each movement earning a cumulative score at the end of the competition. Based on their scores, they can advance from a Local Competition to a Team Championship and then to the Finals, which is held in conjunction with the World Series.

The best part? It’s free! Athletes can participate at no cost and get a chance to earn a spot at the Team Championship, or even better -- an all-expenses paid trip to the Finals.

Registration is open today and will run through Friday 9/25/2026!

Athletes MUST register for their current division & sport (baseball or softball)
Athletes MUST also be registered with the WVAC for the Fall 2026 season (Rec or Travel) in order to participate.

Birth Certificates must be provided at the event!

🔥⚾ Shoutout to our WVAC Warriors 11U! ⚾🔥

These boys battled hard all weekend long—through the rain 🌧️ and 106° “feels like” temps 🥵—and came out UNDEFEATED! 💪🔥

The Warriors put up an incredible 39 runs this weekend while allowing only 8! 💥

What a weekend of teamwork, determination, and heart!

Way to go, Warriors! Keep it rolling! 🏆💙⚾

Great morning at Bill Keller, the WVAC 8U Renegades and WVAC 8U Nukes kicked off their COBRA season with a 2 game set against each other.

The boys all played hard in the heat and rain and had a lot of fun! Good luck to both as they begin official COBRA league play next Sunday.

Parents,
As we get further into the season, we want to take a quick moment to acknowledge the incredible effort happening on our fields every week.

Our coaches are 100% volunteers. They donate endless hours of their personal time—and their own money—to volunteer and to run practices, manage dugouts, and ensure every single child gets fair playing time, learns the game, and has fun.

WVAC is a recreational league. This is a big move up season for a lot of our players in new divisions. Our main goal isn't awarding winners of championships or handing out trophies and medals. We don’t provide college scholarships—it's building a supportive community where local kids can fall in love with baseball and softball.

Running a smooth team takes a village, and our volunteer coaches can always use an extra hand. If you have constructive ideas, feedback, or a passion for how the game should be run, the absolute best way to make a difference is to get involved! We are always looking for extra coaches, assistant coaches, and team helpers.
