Man what a weekend at Oak Hills Country Club!!!!!!! The 50th annual Don. E Milliken 4-Ball was an absolute success!! This tournament could not happen without so many people chipping in and volunteering! We are so thankful for them and all of our Sponsors!! For having the best group of people and friends I could ask for to help me with this event I want to thank DJ Horton Rick Duffield Morgan West Aaron Lee Cole Cody Triston Shirley Bradley Dillion Jade West Jack and Andy Noble Bradley Hargrove John Segars Chris Hill Hayden Leibrock Air Force One Sammy Hill Wiley Whitmore Sam Jones Parker Frizzell Kerri Mitchell Steve Cotten Ashley Aufderhide Stephen Fisher Collin Hornbeck Brad Koen (our Mic Man) and Heath Whitmore (sermon) Ron Worbington (chairs and tables) Jacob Sullivan ( Best cook in Arkansas County)I sure hope I’m not forgetting anyone and please if I am tell me!!
I want to thank the families of Larry Dillion, CW Simpson, Gene Jessup and Winnie Cotten. We wouldn’t be here today doing this 50th annual without men and women like them! They had a love for Oak Hills and we wanted to honor them and let them know how much they meant to us and still do to this day!! We will make sure and never forget where we came from and all the people that helped us get to this point along the way! We are just beneficiaries now of all the hard work they put into this club for years!! May we never forget that! With all that being said I want to congratulate Mr. Rick Duffield and Dane Duffield on behalf of Oak Hills Country Club!!!!! Staples of this tournament for years. Just couldn’t be more excited to announce them as our overall 50th annual 4-ball Champions!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are so much fun to be around on the golf course. Always encouraging each other and just a great team!! Not just their golf game, but the way carry themselves I have always respected and just couldn’t be more excited to see them win!!! I got to witness their play today and man they deserve this!! Mr. Rick really helps us young guys learn the ropes of how to doing certain things and we just are so thankful for him. I know I am speaking for the entire committee! Thank you and Congratulations to you and your son Dane!!
1st Flight Winners were Steele Jessup and Steven Fisher!!! God sure was shining down on oak hills and on a special weekend where we honored his dad Steele and Steven played lights out and captured the flight!! I’m so proud of them!! I know how much this meant for Steele and I’m so glad he got to have this moment!!
2nd flight winners were Trevon Johnson and Matt Siegfried!!
3rd flight winners were DJ Horton and Scott Horton
4th flight winners were Grant Bonnor and Parkman (not pictured)
5th flight winners were Brad Koen and Kelli Jo Mitchell!!
We presented all of our flight winners with a flag to remember our special 50th anniversary!! DJ Horton had the idea and it was just so great to be able to reward our winners with something other than money!!!
God is so good and I’m so thankful he gave us the strength to get through this tough week! Alot of men and women have prayed over this tournament and all the people involved. God Bless everyone of you who entrusted us with this responsibility!!
