This is a bittersweet post, we had our last guide trip yesterday. Thank you Tim and Bill for fishing with us. You caught some nice fish for eating and in record time. Tim, thanks for bringing supper, best hamburgers I’ve had in a long time. See you in July for your salmon trip!!

They started as a group of five and three were brave enough to stay longer. These “young” men were troopers. Steve, Ted, and Mike fished 6 days total, and survived to tell the TAILS!! 🎣 They had their limits before noon Monday and Tuesday, today was a bit more challenging as the water was rough and the wind was howlin’. Great job BOYS, lots of laughs, great food, and a few cocktails too!!! We’ll see you next year!!

I hope all of the Mom’s out there had a great day yesterday!! I did!! My captain finally got to take me fishing for the 2026 season. The day was absolutely beautiful, maybe the best weather day we’ve had out here. We did a little jiggin’ a little trollin’ and caught some beauties!! Thank GOD Bill can catch walleyes otherwise we’d be eatin’ sheepshead. Yes, I still retain my title, SHEEPSHEAD QUEEN.
