MESSAGE FROM THE COACH‼️
Dear Track and Field Athletes and families 🦅

It is very important to come to Track and Field prepared. We might be running in blistering heat of 90 degrees, heavy rains, or even snow. For student safety, please send your child to practice equipped to deal with the changing elements. Also, please send your student athlete with the proper footwear. Shoes are required to lace up and provide the proper support. Crocks, Hey Dudes, and other slip on shoes do not provide any support and may cause injury. Students without proper footwear WILL be sent home.

IMPORTANT‼️ ALL athletes need to have attended a MINIMUM of 5 practices in order to qualify for the first Track meet. Students are aware of how many practices they have currently attended, so families please have this conversation with your child. In addition, athletes MUST be in attendance the entire day of sign-ups and the day of the meet in order to be eligible. Sign-ups are the day before a meet. Missing the day and/or leaving early will disqualify you.

The 1st Track meet will determine the final Track team. If your student has attended at least 5 practices, came to practice prepared and with proper footwear, was in attendance the day before and day of the meet, and has passing grades...they are a 👟 in!

Athletes are responsible for bringing what they need for Track.

This is going to be a great season! I look forward to our 1st Meet 🙂
