Your success is determined by your timing, your opponent's reaction, your positioning and your understanding of what your opponent will do next.

Even if using two move combos, you can stillpick up where another combo ended, turning them into four and eight move combos. If and when you are steps ahead, you win!

It's rare that you submit or sweep your opponent, on the first try. It's with the use of combos and understanding of transitions is where you will be able to expose your opponent's mistakes.

It's extremely important that you study gripping systems, set ups, combinations, counters, escapes, transitions and movement.

Your timing, set ups, opponent's reaction, pressure and amount of practice will determine your success with techniques.

With proper timing, grips, experience and positioning, all of these techniques are highly effective and work.

It's a combination of techniques, along with proper set ups, transitions, grips and the knowledge through experience of your opponent's next move, where you then become multiple steps ahead.

To be successful in combat sports, several key factors must be considered and mastered. Timing, positioning, and an understanding of your opponent's movements are crucial in determining your success. Combining two move combos can lead to longer chains and give you the upper hand. It's rare to defeat your opponent with just one move, it's through the use of combinations and the ability to transition smoothly that exposes their weaknesses.

In order to excel, it's important to study gripping systems, combinations, counters, transitions, movements, and setups. The proper timing, setup, pressure, and amount of practice will determine the effectiveness of techniques. With experience, you will learn to anticipate your opponent's next move, giving you a tactical advantage.

Physical attributes such as movement, agility, coordination, balance, and timing can be improved through partner drills. To achieve maximum effectiveness, techniques must be combined with proper set ups, transitions, grips, and the knowledge gained through experience.

Welcome to your martial arts journey! We are excited to have you as a student and look forward to helping you reach your goals. Martial arts training is a unique and rewarding experience that can help you to develop both physically and mentally. It can help you build strength, flexibility and endurance as well as to develop discipline, focus and self confidence.
As a new student, you will be learning the basics of self defense, techniques and principles.
You will also have the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors and you can train, practice and spar with other students. We encourage you to approach your training with an open mind and a positive attitude. Remember martial arts is a journey not a destination and the journey takes time and effort. We also encourage you to set goals for yourself and to work towards them. Weather your goal is to improve your fitness, learn self defense or to compete, we are here to support you and help you reach your potential.
