Excuse us as we catch up a bit here! We didn't even give you the recap for our May 13th event! May is just flying by.
For our MatchPlay event night at The Kickback Bar , we had a cozy 9 Belles come through. We played 5 rounds, with Donelle leading us into finals. She begrudgingly picked the bank of Taxi, Spider-Man, and Deadpool. 😅 Finals was a nail-biter! We had a tie for 1st! The tie was broken on Beetlejuice, and through it all, Donelle still came out on top!
Our full top 4 standings were Donelle, Cora, Tiffany, and Lau. 🏆
Thank you to Jacque for putting together the adorable gnome trophies. Tamara won herself flipper earrings, and Kenzie won the handmade Mothman that Jennie crocheted! We have such amazingly talented Belles!
As if the win wasn't enough, Donelle also won the random ducky race and snagged the "Nice Balls" earrings.
Our second May event already happened, so expect another recap post later this week!
Side message from Tiffany: I received a very lovely thank you card from one of our members at this event. It expressed gratitude for what I do for the community and how approachable and fun the group has been. It genuinely brought a tear to my eye. The message meant a lot to me, and I'm really happy people are finding joy and belonging within the group. That's the core of what I hoped to build when I stepped in to partner with Jacque. Belles is always a highlight to my month. 💜
