He’s back! We are excited to welcome Bryson Tarpley to De Leon ISD as our new Assistant Football and Assistant Baseball Coach!
Coach Tarpley brings valuable experience from his time as an intern baseball assistant coach at Stephenville High School, where he spent three years developing his knowledge of the game and building strong relationships with student-athletes. He also worked as an assistant football coach this past season here at De Leon while student teaching. He is eager to bring energy, passion, and a strong work ethic to the Bearcat athletic program.
His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, consistency, and building trust within a team. Coach Tarpley believes success is earned through daily effort, accountability, and a commitment to doing the little things right. He is dedicated to creating a competitive environment where athletes are pushed to improve, support one another, and take pride in representing their school.
Outside of coaching, Coach Tarpley enjoys attending sporting events and traveling. A fun fact about him is that he has visited all 30 MLB ballparks, showcasing his deep passion for the game of baseball.
