It was below freezing and foggy this morning. Our morning started out with Baby Girl bundled up in a blanket on the bottom of the Deer Blind with a blind heater going and watching her iPad with her headphones on. After it got daylight, we watched a dozen or so deer come and go on the food plot before the one we’ve been hunting stepped out. She got behind the scope and immediately blurted out, “Holy Crap Dad! He’s really big!”. While she was waiting for him to present her with a good shot she looked up from the scope, held her hand out and said with a big smile, “Look, I’m shaking”. I said, “It’s ok baby, I’m shaking too!”. She finally got the shot picture she wanted and sent it. Shot him right through the lungs and he made it about 70 yards before giving up the ghost. I’ve come to realize that I am her hunting guide, caddy, skinner, butcher, and cook. I put her on them and she shoots them down! Lol! I wouldn’t have it any other way!
