Today, I’m writing with a very full heart to share some bittersweet news: I have sold my shop.
The new owners will continue what Marc and I started back in 2015, and what Kelly and I have poured our hearts into for the past six years. I couldn’t be more grateful knowing that this little shop and the spirit behind it will continue on.
This decision is bittersweet, to say the least.
Over the years, I have had the incredible privilege of meeting so many wonderful people. You welcomed us into your vacations, your family traditions, and your lives. You supported us through some of our darkest hours. You believed in us when we needed it most — and together, we did it.
Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your time here. One of my favorite things has been watching your families grow. We’ve watched your little ones go from riding in a pull-behind wagon to pedaling their very own adult-sized bikes. Those are the moments I’ll carry with me forever.
I have more memories than I could ever put into words, and I will treasure every single one as I begin this next chapter.
Kelly, Anchor, and I will be moving into a house I purchased here in the area. I often told my customers, “It’s a beautiful day. I wish I could go with you!” And now, I’m looking forward to finding a little more time to enjoy some of those beautiful days myself.
It has truly been an honor to serve you and this amazing community. I loved what I did, and I was fortunate enough to do what I loved. I gave this business 100% of my heart and soul, and I will always be proud of what we built together.
My hope is that you will continue to support this little shop, welcome the new owners, and help them create their own memories with you.
Thank you — from the bottom of my heart — for every visit, every conversation, every kind word, every bit of encouragement, and every mile you rode with us.
This may be the end of one chapter, but it certainly isn’t the end of the story.
I hope to see you out there. ❤️
With so much love and gratitude,
Shannan
