Remember eating that cookie(s) that left you feeling guilty for days so that you had to restrict yourself from all the sweets for two weeks to “make up” for that cookie(s)?

This cookie does not have anything to do with your

Lack of willpower
Lack of motivation
Lack of discipline
It has nothing to do with your self-worth either!

A cookie is just a symptom of a pattern that keeps repeating. This pattern(s) pulls you away from the results you are striving for.

Learning to consciously connect with your emotions, thoughts that paint the stories that our brain likes to create judgments around is one of the essential steps in my coaching. I believe that this step is pivotal for sustainable weight loss and a more enjoyable relationship with food.

You are constantly making decisions:
Which way to go and how it’s going to make you feel later:

- guilty vs good😂
- “bad” girl vs “good” girl😅
- indulge today vs restrict tomorrow 🎁

I don’t blame you! 😘
I was confused for many years too?

It is simple:
FACT: Food is food! It consists of macros: protein, carbs and fat = calories! It’s neither good nor bad!!!

With me, you learn to become a macro explorer vs a food judge!

What we make food mean to us is our own interpretation and judgement based on what we hear, know and experience!

Pause today and begin to notice how you approach your food ⬇️⬇️⬇️

- as your enemy and a tester of your moral judgement

What if it requires for you to slow down so you could pay attention to your body’s feedback - hunger, energy, cravings and your state of mind?

Quieting down and feeling is where the journey begins!

And yes, I hear you - when you lose 20lbs, you will be happy!!!! But happiness is your internal feeling! 😀

It can start with you quieting your mind so you can listen for the wisdom that you already have and it’s not the best diet that you are chasing!

That is what I am learning as I am diving deeper into nutrition and food obsession!

- I should work on my willpower

Add in the end of each statement - just like I did on my diet plan 6 months ago!

Yes, you are stuck in a restrictive mindset, which is a side effect of trying multiple diets! 😀😀

I feel you!

The scary part is that you think that in order to maintain your lost weight, you have to constantly think about how, what, how much, when in relationship to food?

No wonder you are exhausted and binge all the time searching for more willpower!

You are not crazy!
You are normal under these conditions! 😆

Are you yawning for something Different in your life?

👏👏👏 Awesome that you are feeling this desire!

In our Mindset Adventure yesterday, I was using my “expansion model” to express a process of starting from where you are:

- recognizing your conditioned thought patterns and stories that keep us feeling stuck

- using the tools that and I share in our sessions, we become aware how our thinking needs to change so we can match up to our expansion and have mindset that supports us on our journey

Makes sense?
Maybe not especially if you are spending hours and days googling for the best diet, coach, strategy, food or method to get you somewhere differently without addressing

- You
- Your thoughts
- Your feelings
- Your changing so you can accept and match up to your expanded version

Yep, deep work is in progress in our Mindset Adventure! 👏👏👏👏

We are so proud of our ladies traveling to the unknown destinations as they are struggling and blossoming the their levels of expansion!

Thank you for all the lessons that and I are learning from you as we are expanding with you!

I want to lose 15lbs! It is a great goal.
There is a PART of you that gets ........
EXCITED!

And there is another PART of you that gets...........
SCARED!

Yes, this is how our mind works. There is always a competing intention.

Do you feel you've been spending weeks or months researching diets, plans, coaches to figure out the best strategy to move forward with your goal?

Do you feel stuck in the paralysis by analysis mode?

This is a common behavior! Yes, you are uniquely common!!!!
You are in a self-sabotaging mode?
"How did that happen?" - you may ask.
"I am just researching the best..........."

The SCARED PART of you is doing a good job keeping you safe by keeping you in the future thinking.
It is protecting you from possible failures (your fear is going to be unique to you).

In our Mindset Adventure, coach Amanda and I share this principles
- Become aware of many parts of you and how they make you feel
- where do you feel them in your body (body does not lie)
- Feel the feeling - a part of you! Allow it to speak its "mind"! Hear it!
"What are you here to teach me?"
- Hug the excited part of you and the scared part of you! They are parts of your whole!

If you are feeling resistance, check in with the SCARED PART of you. Allow it to be heard.
Accepting is freeing us!
Resisting is keeping us stuck!

How long will you continue researching ..... until you are ready?
Let the SCARED PART of your share its wisdom!
