Tackle Cancer Tackle-A-Thon 🩷 The DARC Women’s team is raising money to support the fight against breast cancer during our match against the Kelts on October 17th.
Amanda, our teammate Hope’s sister, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. This unexpected burden has been hard on their family. DARC is a family and we want to do everything we can to support each other both on and off the pitch. We will be holding a Tackle-A-Thon to help raise money for Amanda’s treatment.
During our game against the Kelts on October 17th, you can pledge to support this cause. Pick a player and pledge a dollar amount for every tackle they make. Typically players make around 5-10 tackles a game. You can also pledge a dollar amount for trys made by that player. All proceeds will towards Amanda’s treatment costs.
