We’re excited to introduce the new Mole Hill Bikes logo.

This mark brings together pieces of our story from the very beginning. The hill silhouette reaches back to our original 1986 logo, when Mole Hill Bikes first started at the base of Mole Hill. The badge shape and bold bike shop feel carry forward the look many of you have known from our 1992 logo.

The result is something familiar, but refreshed — a logo that honors where we came from while giving us a strong identity for the years ahead.

Since 1986, Mole Hill Bikes has been about more than bikes. It has been about local riders, honest service, test rides, repairs, community, and helping people enjoy riding here in the Shenandoah Valley.

Same shop. Same roots. New mark.

Thanks for being part of the ride.

Here at the shop, we commonly get asked where to ride, so we're going to start highlighting some of our favorite places to go!

My (Aidan's) favorite place to ride is the Massanutten Western Slopes. One of the biggest reasons I keep going back is the progression of trails. There are options for riders of all skill levels, and it's a great place to build confidence and improve your skills over time. No matter where you are in your riding journey, there's always another trail to work toward.

The scenery is another thing I love about riding there. Between the woods, mountain views, and changing seasons, it's hard to have a bad day on the bike at the Western Slopes.

If you haven't been out there yet, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Jordan’s favorite place to ride is around Elkhorn Lake.

Fairly flat riding, low traffic, plenty of campsites, and a nice scenic being near a lake. It’s the kind of place that makes for an easy, relaxed ride where you can just enjoy spending time with the family and being outside. You can find his route on our Ride With GPS account.

What about you — where’s your favorite place to ride?
