Weekly Schedule:
Tuesday- Open Modern 5:45-6:45
Open Jazz 6:45-7:45
Wednesday- Creative Movement I 5:45-6:30
Creative Movement II 6:30-7:15
Thursday- Children’s Dance I 5:45-6:45
Children’s Dance II 6:45-7:45
Contemporary Styles 7:30-9:15
Tuition and Fees:
Registration Fees - $20 (one-time non-refundable fee due at time of registration)
Creative Movement - $48 monthly
1 class per week - $60 monthly
2 classes per week - $105 monthly
Contemporary Styles -$80 monthly
Tuition is due the FIRST CLASS of each month. A $20 late fee is applied to tuition received after the first week!!
Class Descriptions:
Creative Movement I (ages 3-4) -designed for young dancers, emphasizing body awareness through movement. The focus is on the use of motor skills, directional awareness, and movement patterning
Creative Movement II (ages 4-5) continuation of creative movement I with a more intricate development of directional awareness with a focus on spatial and body-level awareness
Children’s Dance I and II (ages 6-8) designed as prerequisites to traditional dance techniques. Prepares young dancers for the technical aspects of ballet, modern, and jazz
Open Modern- based on the Horton technique with emphasis on symmetrical and asymmetrical movement evolving from the center of the body moving in and out of the floor
Open Jazz – deep dive into various dance techniques that fuse street dance, jazz, and hip hop. Emphasis on movement vocabulary, performance energy, and quality
Contemporary Styles - designed for the more experienced dancer with a focus on blended technical styles and movement of phrases evolving into choreographic work. Technique, stamina, and performance quality are stressed
