Greetings!
News and notes from the May meeting:
The .22 shoots are done for the summer, but indoor archery continues on Tuesday evenings at 7
We will shoot trap prior to the June meeting. Starting at 6:30, open to anyone. Bring your shotgun and a couple boxes of shells. Beat club pro Don Good and will a free bowl of ice cream!
The fishing day was a success. Thanks to all who helped and those who participated. I'm sure there were a few trout left for the members.
Our next hoagie sale is Saturday June 20. $8 for a 12" hoagie made fresh with locally purchased ingredients. See any club member or call Randy Stear to order. All orders must be in by June 5.
The grass is growing fast. Feel free to take a turn mowing. See Randy or Don Good for instructions on the mower.

Just a reminder that we will be shooting trap prior to the May 14 meeting. We will start around 6:30. Open to anyone, you just pay a small fee to cover the price of the birds.
And a huge THANK YOU to all who helped in any way with the Kid's Fishing Day last Saturday. So many of you pitched in to make it a success. Pictures to come!

Greetings from the Dayton Sportsman Club!
Here's what's going on:
We are shooting archery indoors on Tuesdays at 7pm
We shoot .22 pistols indoors on Wednesday evenings at 6:30
We will shoot trap prior to the May 14 meeting, at 6:30
Our Kid's Fishing Day is Saturday May 9 from 1-4pm. After that, the ponds will be open for the general membership. From today on, the is to be NO FISHING until May 9
Our next hoagie sale is scheduled for Saturday June 20.

Shame on you for six weeks if you missed the March meeting. We had our annual Pancake and Sausage dinner and it was a great turnout. Thanks to all who helped in any way!

Greetings from the Dayton Sportsman club.
News and notes:
We will be doing some work on the parking area sometime after the March meeting, so please bear with us. There may be some mud for a while. Of course, it's quite muddy now!
The March meeting will be our annual Pancake and Sausage dinner, so you'll want to make every effort to attend. Feel free to invite family and friends. We do ask a $6 donation to cover some of the costs.
We will be serving from 5-7pm, with the meeting to follow immediately. If you can help set up for the dinner, you can show up a bit early.
We should have some guests from the Game/Fish commissions so you can hear what's new and ask questions.
Our January hoagie sale was one of the best ever. Thanks to all who helped in any way. We will make more in June. Stay tuned for the exact date.
Our fishing derby will be Saturday May 9. More details at a later date.
We shoot archery indoors on Tuesday at 7pm, and .22 pistols on Wednesday evenings at 6:30
If there is enough interest we will begin shooting trap once the weather improves.

Happy New Year from the Dayton Sportsman Club! Here's what's going on.
Our next hoagie sale in Saturday January 24. Help will be needed Friday January 23 at 7pm and Saturday January 24 at 7am. All orders must be to Randy by Wednesday January 14, so that supplies can be ordered. $8 for a 12" hoagie. All ingredients are purchased from local merchants.
Our annual pancake and sausage dinner will precede the March 12 meeting. We will serve from 5-7pm with the monthly meeting to follow immediately. Feel free to bring family and friends. We ask a $6 donation No one leaves hungry!
The Wednesday night .22 pistol shoots have resumed at 6:30 each week, and the indoor archery takes place each Tuesday at 7pm

Our first meeting of 2026 will be Thursday January 8, at 8pm. Memberships can be renewed at that time.

News from the November meeting:
We have sold some of the timber on the opposite side of the road from the club building. Cutting is to start soon. For safety reasons please observe any signs or safety tape at the rifle range. There will be no cutting on Saturdays prior to rifle deer season and no cutting on Sundays. Thanks for your consideration!
Our Hoss's fundraiser is Friday November 21 at the Indiana location. You must present the flyer with the club code number to be counted. If you need a flyer, contact Randy and he will email one to you, or there are some on the bulletin board at the club.
Indoor archery is on hold through the hunting seasons, and the .22 shoots will resume shortly.
Our next hoagie sale in January 24, more details next month.

The September hoagie sale went well. Thanks to all who helped in any way. Our next sale will be January 24, 2026
Our Fall banquet is Sunday October 19 at 4pm. The club supplies the meat, rolls and beverages. Please bring a covered dish, family and friends
Our indoor archery group is on hold through hunting season
Our .22 shoots will begin soon
