The Champions Edge Elite Showcase was full of talent, grit, and competitive play. The feedback from players and parents has been incredible, and our parent panel brought real answers to real questions about recruitment, NIL, and circuit basketball. Thank you to all our coaches for making this event so successful for all the players!

We’re excited to announce two Champions Edge Elite Basketball Qualifiers for athletes in grades 7–12: April 24 and July 31, 2027.

Attending a qualifier guarantees an in-person evaluation for the invitation-only 2027 Champions Edge Elite Showcase in September. Spots are limited. A $50 nonrefundable deposit reserves your spot for a qualifier and goes toward the $250 qualifier fee. Want to attend both? Reserve a spot in each! WELCOME TO THE SHOTMAKERS LEAGUE.

Think you’re the best from mid range? Can you knock it down from 3 when it counts? Here’s your chance to prove it.

Compete in the men’s or women’s open division for a shot at being crowned Grand Champion. Or get your crew together and take on the team tournament. If your jumper is better with your people behind you, bring them.
Start working on that jumper and assembling your squad.

Registration opens October 9. Spots are limited, so set your reminder and be ready.

We’re building more than basketball players. We’re building well-rounded athletes.

Flyght Academy Winter Basketball is designed to give young athletes more than just practices and games. Our 3rd Grade Boys and Girls programs combine basketball development, athletic development, competition, and mentorship to help build a strong foundation for the years ahead.

Athletes will receive weekly team practices, age-appropriate speed and agility work, access to our Flyght Jr Academy After School Program, and intentional skill development with Chris Wright, Coach Ve, and our experienced coaching staff. They’ll also have opportunities to put that development into action through the Dayton Metro League and Dayton-area tournaments.

At this age, it’s not just about wins and losses. It’s about learning how to move, compete, communicate, build confidence, develop healthy habits, and understand the game.

Better basketball players. Better athletes. Stronger foundations.

Flyght Winter Basketball is coming for second grade boys and girls!

We’re building more than teams. We want young athletes to develop strong skills, healthy habits, confidence, and a foundation they can carry into every sport they play.
Games and tournaments are part of the experience, but development comes first. Players will work on basketball fundamentals, age-appropriate speed and agility, and overall athletic growth with guidance from our skilled coaches-led by Chris Wright and Coach Ve.

Our skill development and open gym sessions will help us place each player in the right environment. Some will join a select team competing in the Dayton Metro League and Dayton-area tournaments. Others will join our in-house developmental league. Both paths are designed to help kids learn, grow, and love the game.

Join us for an open gym:
October 5 | 6:00–7:30 PM
October 18 | 4:00–6:00 PM
October 19 | 6:00–7:30 PM

We can’t wait to get to work with this next group of young athletes. More information will be available at the open gyms and on our website under the Flyght Jr Academy page of our website!
