The District 18–5A Cross Country Championships are in the books! Lots to celebrate for the Broncos! The boys team just missed their third consecutive district title by one point. wins his second cross country title and completes the 1-2 punch, making the pair the first 🥇 🥈 boys finish at the district meet, since 1997. Sophomore .aidaaa secures her second trip to the regional meet with a 5th place finish. Nolan Mika steps up in a big way and grabs his first individual regional qualification with an outstanding 6th place finish. Seniors Logan Strickland and Abel Magana, battle to the line and freshman Matthew Llanes and sophomore Liam Dobbs run personal bests to seal the deal for the Broncos. Special shout out to the freshman boys group who also captured 🥈 as a team, with all five of them getting medals. Great job, Broncos!!

DAYTON— Peyton Snapp loves to run; correction, he says, “running is my life.” That is the motto that Dayton High School graduate Peyton Snapp is taking with him to Incarnate Word University in San Antonio next month.

35th Annual Dayton Bronco Invitational. 38 schools represented and over 1200 athletes. A very special thank you to all of our volunteers. We couldn’t do it without you.

Congratulations to Jaxon Asbill! Today, Jaxon placed 26th out of 150 runners at the state Cross Country Championships. He improved his place 11 spots today! He was in the top 5 of sophomores. Great Job Jaxon!
