A different kind of May challenge this year: give RINSE new life.

We’ve been busy.

And we are so super blessed to have the very best people in our corner. Emily Sluk, one of our most dedicated members, is coming on board as an investor to bring new life into the space with some upgrades and also new bikes. She will also be assisting in running day to day ops which I think we can say hallelujah again for that.

It’s a new era for us. Personally (hi it’s me Kari), I feel really ready for change. I’ve been really stuck in what the studio was “pre-covid” and trying to get it back to that. And there is no going back but there is always a way to move forward.

I am so incredibly grateful for Emily’s vision and her willingness to jump into this with me.

Unfortunately here to break your hearts twice in one week.

The RINSE instructors are absolutely powerhouses. They excel in all areas of their lives which means sometimes they get pulled away because they are too damn good at their day jobs.

Brandon, in addition to being your feel good instructor who also knows how to make sure you struggle to walk up stairs the next day, runs the Dayton Ballet. His role is switching up some requiring more travel. Which means his last week with us is next week. 💔

He may be around to sub and may be back but for now he’s going to be sweating alongside us in the community.

Brandon has a special ability to make you feel warm cozies just by being around him. And with his background in dance and fitness he knows how to craft and instruct a class that crushes. He’s been an amazing part of the team for the past two years and we are going to miss hearing his perfect instruction and throwback playlists immensely.

We love you so much, Brandon and are so proud of the way you are making Dayton more beautiful through art. Thank you for sharing your light and passion with us. 🖤

THE BEST HYPE MAN FOR THE PAST 7 YEARS

Two more chances to sweat with Jake. His last class will be May 2nd and he’s requested a full hour ride for his send off. Mark your calendars.

There’s no way to accurately express how much he has meant to this community. From his first ride coming in with neon socks in the temp space to showing up and teaching after reviewing evidence after the 2019 shooting because wanted to be there for everyone to drinking white claws with Kari riding to Dillon Francis on a livestream and being a constant reason people left with tired legs and a full heart on Saturdays.

We are so incredibly proud of your career advancement but will miss the joy and enthusiasm you bring on the mic.

We love you, Jakey, and are so fu***ng grateful for you. Spinning chickens forever. 🖤
