Next Play’s 6th Grade Gold had an amazing weekend playing as a team and playing with confidence. Everyone showcased their strengths and each player impacted the games! We went 2-1 and truly battled through adversity and stayed focused. With intentionally creating a schedule that would challenge these girls, it was nice to play in a tournament that allowed us to relax a bit and have some fun!

Next Play’s 7th Grade had a great weekend ending up 2-2. This team consistently hustles and has a level of grit that has to be respected!

Our 6th Grade Gold players not only have natural ability and athleticism, they WANT to be students of the game.
These girls allow us to teach the IQ piece of basketball (even if trying to cram plenty in during a short timeout lol) and take time in practice to do the drill and skill portion but also the small sides games, 5v5, practicing against older girls, and they take the time to ask questions while learning. This is what allows elite athletes to keep growing and keep building. Proud of these girls!

Rickayla Davis 2027. Athletic, strong, fast, and intentional about her growth! She’s a natural athlete that excels in not just basketball, but track and volleyball, making her an all around athlete.
