Cherie Hinchliff, Christy Bell, and I played golf at Red Wolf today, experiencing a very windy day but having a great time nonetheless. The Fajitas at lunch were fantastic, and we were delighted to meet some new friends on the course.

The Touchet Valley Ladies Golf organization extends its sincere gratitude for the generous $1000.00 donation from Friends of the Library in support of this year's youths Junior Golf program. The Junior golf clinic takes place last week of June each year. Our ladies are always happy to see all the young golfers in our community.

The sign-up sheet to register your team is at the Touchet Valley golf course restaurant.

The date for 'Ladies Monday Night Golf' has been scheduled to start on May 11th, with a tee-off time of 5:30 PM; please arrive early to complete registration and familiarize yourself with your designated starting tee. We play a 3 person scramble with a few games thrown in to add a bit of excitement. Registration is $20.00 and $10.00 for a 'golden tee', $1.00 for mulligan. (You can also sign up to be a sub)

This day began with cooler temperatures but developed into an opportune day for volunteer workers to revitalize the Touchet Valley golf course. The Waitsburg and Dayton high school golf teams reported to provide their aid. Thanks are due to everyone; it is starting to look like golf season has arrived.

Well today sure felt like golf!! 60 plus degrees, just saying. It won't be long and we will be back out on the course. It really is a frustrating game, and then you get that one good hit and it makes you come back and try all over again. Think about joining our Wednesday Ladies Golf group that usually officially starts in April, weather permitting. Contact me or anyone in our group for more information.
