Wow, yesterday was our long awaited 9 hole tournament. The turnout was amazing, we had 66 ladies hit the course at 9am and It looked like everyone was having a great time. We had a salad lunch after golf that was catered by The Back 9 Diner. Cherie Hinchliff was the chairperson for our tournament and with help from our members it was a great success. There was a photo opportunity on #2 and here are some of the pictures that were taken.

We have several baskets to raffle at our golf tournament tomorrow, one is an All Dayton basket. Hotel Hardware gave a night for two, $50.00 in Dayton dollars, $50.00 at Buckwheat Brew Pub, wine from Dumas Station, Red Band, golfing for two at our beautiful course, and so many more items. A big thank you to everyone who donated to make this basket.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, is the Touchet Valley Ladies Golf tournament here in Dayton. We will be welcoming 66 ladies from all around the area, Tri Cities, LaGrande, Walla Walla. It will be a fun day for everyone. I want to say thank you to all the people who donated items for this tournament. Tera Brownfield Wheatley for donating a beautiful tumbler and Heather Hiebert for 2 Hershey Nut Pies are just a couple I wanted to mention. I will be posting pictures tomorrow.

Great day, Kim and Cherie won a basket. Kim had the longest drive We all got a WW sweet onion. Play was so much fun. It wasn't to hot but was a bit smokey. Oh, and look who got to golf together!!!! They had to have paid off someone.

I hope everyone had a wonderful time at our first night of Touchet Valley Ladies Golf Lessons! ⛳️ It was great to see so many out learning, practicing, and having fun together.
Whether you were picking up a golf club for the first time or brushing up on your skills, you did a fantastic job! A big thank you to our instructors for making the evening enjoyable and encouraging.
We can't wait to see everyone back Wednesday for the next lesson. Keep practicing, and most of all, keep having fun! 🏌️‍♀️💚

Yesterday several of us ladies went to LaGrande for their 9 hole guest day. Very warm but it was a very fun day. We all came home with a gift and some won prizes.

On our way home we saw a very large fire 🔥 that was spreading fast close to Weston Oregon. I see that it jumped the road behind us and many people were evacuated. So glad we made it home before they closed the road.

Cherie Hinchliff, Christy Bell, and I played golf at Red Wolf today, experiencing a very windy day but having a great time nonetheless. The Fajitas at lunch were fantastic, and we were delighted to meet some new friends on the course.
