Commodore Yacht Club- The Marina at Manhattan Harbour The purpose of the C*C is the promotion of boating, the cultivation of good fellowship among its members, and to provide social activities for its members.

The Commodore Club, LLC is also known as the Commodore Yacht Club (C*C). The Commodore Yacht Club was founded in 2006 with the mission of gathering people with an abiding interest in boating and good fellowship. Membership is made up mostly of boat owners who harbor their vessels at The Marina at Manhattan Harbour. Social members are also welcome to join. Our members make Commodore Yacht Club so s

pecial — they are a compilation of the finest residents in the Greater Cincinnati area. The purpose of this Club is the promotion, protection, and encouragement of boating for pleasure and sport; to encourage the development and cultivation of good fellowship among its members; and to provide for social activities and other forms of entertainment as may be proscribed by the Directors and the Members.

2020 C*C MEMBERSHIP DUES BEING REFUNDED -- WATCH YOUR MAILBOX!! Refund checks are being mailed this week to the 22 C*C members who paid their 2020 membership dues online prior to COVID. C*C Members,

As all of you are aware, the extraordinary circumstances surrounding COVID-19 have resulted in the State of Kentucky issuing very strict public safety guidelines related to the opening of public and private membership pools.

After careful review of these regulations and multiple discussions with our local inspector, we have determined the rules and regulations issued by the State are simply too restrictive for the C*C to maintain compliance at this time. The C*C Bridge held several meetings to discuss this issue and voted unanimously on Tuesday to keep our pool closed for this season.

Any dues that have been paid in 2020 will be carried over to the 2021 season.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your continued friendship and camaraderie at the Marina this summer.

UPDATE FROM OUR COMMODORE: The COVID-19 situation and events over the past few weeks has certainly been stressful for all of us. As most of you know, the President and Governor’s daily updates continue to bring concerns and challenges to our community, as well as hope that the situation will improve if we all stay the course and follow the guidelines and recommendations of our Government and Medical Leaders.

With this said, I am canceling our monthly C*C meetings until further notice as well as any event that we have planned in the coming weeks/months. Please continue to monitor our C*C website, as well as our page for updates. I hope to be back on schedule sometime in May, but this all depends on how our community responds to the recent “stay-at-home” orders that have been put into action by our Governor last night.

Please be safe and do not hesitate to reach out to anyone on the C*C Bridge for assistance. We will all get through this together and I suspect the outcome will be business as usual in a few months.

Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone very soon.

SEE YOU SATURDAY!! Our monthly meeting is scheduled for 2 pm on Saturday, February 8, at the Marina. PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN TIME. Following the meeting, those who are interested can join in the “Pub Crawl” through Bellevue from 3:30-5:30 pm. Parking will be available at Desmond Insurance in Bellevue, and stops will include: Darkness Brewing (3:30, food truck available); Three Spirits Tavern (4:30); and The Fairfield Market (5:30, food available).

Also, the online dues system will be up and running on the C*C website starting on Saturday so you can pay your 2020 C*C Membership dues. Remember, dues go up May 1, so be the early bird and pay now! No cash payments accepted; please complete your forms and payments online through the portal.
